Not a lot of love lost here, but Psyclone was a Dinn Corporation-built wooden roller coaster that operated at @SFMagicMountain from 1991 to 2006. Part of the "record breaking wooden coaster craze" of the 1990s, the coaster pushed riders to the limit, with up to 3.0 in G-forces in parts of the ride.

Her trains were designed by B&M, the only wooden roller coaster to ever receive trains from them.

Predator at @SFDarienLake is a Dinn designed wooden roller coaster that opened at the park in 1990. The ride features a top height of 95 feet and a top speed of 50 MPH.

Dahlonega Mine Train is an Arrow-designed mine train coaster that has been operating at @sfovergeorgia since 1967! The mine train design was one of the first commercially successful steel coaster designs for Arrow, and it led to numerous models being built throughout North America in the 1960s and 1970s.

Vertical Velocity is an Intamin Impulse #rollerCoaster that opened at @SixFlags Great America in 2001. Though the coaster is considered a small footprint ride, riders still reach a top speed of 70MPH as the train twists its way through two spikes at opposite ends of the station.

The ride has since been painted with a red and yellow color scheme.

Jester was a Vekoma hurricane roller coaster that operated at @SixFlags NOLA from 2003 to 2005. Unfortunately Hurricane Katrina left her in disrepair, and Six Flags has left her to rot away in the former park.

As much as Vekoma rides aren't my favorite, I wish she could've been saved for another park. Barely two full years of operation.

#DisneyWorld produces the larges amount of #solar in the US. They're also getting ready to finish TWO MORE 75MW arrays in Polk and Gilchrest counties this year - adding to their already huge solar footprint of ~150MW.

#DailyNews states #SixFlags will have 20.8MW annually with their install. Nowhere near #Disney's!

My first time on El Toro this week. New favorite woodie by far. Love the sound of the upstop wheel airtime. Row 17 is perfect and super re-rideable since the empty single rider line takes you straight there!

Ride of Steel at @SFDarienLake is an Intamin hypercoaster that premiered at the park in 1999 as Superman - Ride of Steel.

The coaster is the most popular ride at the park, but was involved in a well-publicized lawsuit when a man was thrown from the car months after the ride opened, sustaining serious injuries.

Viper is a wooden roller coaster that opened in 1995 at @SFGreat_America and features a height of 100ft, a max speed of 50mph, and over half a mile of track gobbled up in less than 2 minutes.

At Six Flags Great America near Chicago. What a beautiful day for rollercoaster rides and water park attractions. None of which I go on because I'm a tired old fart. But I'm here to support my son's robotics team as they celebrate the end of a great season.

The people watching is great. Also great seeing so many people here to celebrate Pride Day at the park.

As for me? Just let me sit in the shade. Wife probably wishes I would have just stayed home.
