She's friendlier than she comes across, and has a hidden playful side, but until she eventually gets out to meet other people she's paranoid and guarded at all times, not wanting anyone to get through the passages of the Inner System she guards. It's an important job — there's stuff in there nobody should mess with — but that doesn't mean she has to distrust everyone as much as she does.
