Any AI developed with "human values" would be a disaster when taking into account that human values for hundreds of thousands of years has been conquering, killing, selfishness, greed and subjugation of the weakest of us.

Humans are a failed species, always doing more harm than good to the planet they rely on to survive.

With a few hundred thousand more years, maybe we would have evolved beyond these barbaric traits, but alas, we won't have the chance now, as the planet we depend on is on life support, and beyond fixing.

I’d like to believe there will come a day - soon - when those of us in the U.S.finally realize we have more important things to worry about than what pettiness the selfish #assholes in the #Republican party are up to and convince the #mainstreammedia to shift their focus to things that really matter. But who am I kidding? Americans care more about our tabloid drama than we do the fate of our species.
