SJ has spent the better part of a year plus imploding, unable to sell tickets more than a few weeks out, constantly coming up with more excuses than British Rail in its worst years. It's very hard to love the train in Sweden when they pull this constantly.

What are #SJ #trains in #Sweden like for punctuality and missed connection rights (separate tickets)? I'm booked on #Stockholm to #Hamburg #Sleeper but coming from #Oslo, and my options are an early start with plenty of time to wait for the sleeper, or a late start with just 30 minutes to wait. The early #train isn't bookable yet due to track work. Is it worth booking on the late train for now so I've at least got a cheap ticket, and maybe change it later if the earlier train does run?

The #SJ #X2000 does run 200 km/h. (Which is not ”high speed”, has been an everyday speed on good quality important continental lines for over 50 years, but still.)
