¿Es un incremento o se diagnostica mejor y por eso aumenta el número?
20 años para el diagnóstico del Síndrome de #Sjögren. Como se desconoce el número, en algunos sitios se considera rara y en otros no.
El #Lupus eritematoso sistémico #LES probablemente lo tenga desde los 4. Me lo diagnosticaron a los 38. En 2012 era rara. Hoy no. (otros tipos, sí) #RareDeseaseDay #DiaMundialEnfermedadesRaras #EERR

El síndrome de #Sjögren puede afectar a la vida y #SaludSexual de las #mujeres. Rara vez se pregunta a las #pacientes y, sobretodo al principio, ellas no lo relacionan con la enfermedad #Tabú
Es importante tocar el tema en consulta y derivar a #ginecologia si es necesario.

El síndrome de #Sjögren es una #EnfermedadAutoinmune que se banaliza como "molestia" por sequedad de ojos y boca. Pero ataca a las mucosas (pulmones...): puede provocar sequedad vaginal y diversos problemas derivados de ello (infecciones, dolor, atrofia vaginal...) que han de tratarse.

Es un trastorno de la deglución (problemas para tragar líquidos, alimentos... incluso saliva). Según su origen, gravedad... necesita distinta intervención multidisciplinar.
Tengo síndrome de #Sjögren y he tenido temporadas muy malas. Ahora sé manejarla mejor. Ésta es mi experiencia.

(At least the body is doing something instead of just saying "deal with it" when I'm in pain. *Wait*, that's already doing something, technically it's the body's fault I'm in pain.)

I can carry on the #ereader with the adventures of Xerses and co. Not having to keep a book open and having to manage something a lot lighter (no matter how long the tome!) and less eyebleeding than a phone (yay for #sjogren) is great.
