78. Sketchcrawl vom 28.1.2023
Heute zeichnete ich in einem Notizbuch mit hellbraunem Papier, da es mir für die Marktszene passend erschien. Unglücklicherweise ist dieses Papier nur für Bleistift und Kugelschreiber geeignet. Aquarellfarben "verschwinden" im Papier und der Farbeindruck ist nur schwer zu beeinflussen. Wenigstens konnte ich mit weißer Farbe einige Akzente setzen.

I'm continuing to play with my new inkjet printer, and tested using it to reproduce some of my artwork. It will be a fiendish task to get the colors to come out perfectly. (Color management is a dark art). I have the wherewithal to do scanner color profiling, but that's a chore.

Here is my test piece of art - #watercolor seems especially challenging to reproduce. This was from a #sketchcrawl we did several years ago in the Castro district of SF.
