They're similar to the 12 spotted #skimmer - which has additional black spots on both wing tips.

Looking at gas pump at gas station today, what with their funky homemade padlock and hasp combo to keep the pump box shut.

"Dunno, doesn't look like you all are winning the war against the pay-at-the-pump skimmers."

For that reason, we always pay cash, drop a few green twenties on the counter.

Less skimmer fraud that way.

Like the credit card fraud department a few years back calling me,

"Are you simultaneously shopping at these 3 Nordstroms clothing stores today?"

That is indeed pretty low, stealing from SNAP users!

Some years back, we were up late and saw on the news that a fake technician had been in the local Raley's groceries, "servicing" the self checkout stations, installing a #skimmer

"We shop there. Cancel the debit card now!"

Then in years after, we figured out that our credit cards were always getting skimmed at gas pumps. Now we only pay cash for gas.

But that's all nothing, compared to #crooks stealing food from the hungry!
