He was like the Canadian Syd Barrett: co-founded the 1960s rock band Moby Grape, did a shit-ton of drugs, developed schizophrenia (and infamously came after two of his band mates with a fire axe in a New York hotel), recorded one solo album, and then lived as a recluse until his death in 1999. #Music #NowPlaying #SkipSpence #Oar
