that was my goal in the early years but it never worked out and that opportunity is far behind me now. Now the goal is one of arrested decay:-) , both mentally and physically.
I'm not anywhere near the nth project in life or even the nth-1 project but it is a small number. It would be good to have someone special to #sail with or ride a #ebike across the country or travel around with the #skoolie or just cook dinner with but I'm not waiting.

I spent the last few days learning about #freecad. Here is what I've done so far.

my lesson for the day. I'm working on my #skoolie and have the bed more or less done but I have a few kinks to work out. The idea of not having a proper pillow and just using what ever is around is a bad one. I couldn't wait and didnt even go in the house to swipe a pillow off the bed. Now I have a few kinks to work out in my neck.

The snow is coming down on-and-off today, and it's got me disinclined to go work on my #skoolie. Snow is rare enough here in PDX, I'm content to just sit and watch it.

Sun's coming up, so it's almost time to get out into my #skoolie and make some more progress on my subfloor. I've only got about 12 more feet to go, I think I might be able to finish it today! It's the complicated bit toward the front, with all the odd cuts to get around the dash, stairs, driver's seat, and fuel gauge access. But I've got #WhiteGuyConfidence!

I know my parents have been a little confused about how my relationship is going to work as I build a #skoolie to live in full-time, but I don't know if they understand that no matter where life takes me, my partner (and her future kid) will always be my family.
