In #Skopje there seems to be an unwritten rule that the first two seconds of a red traffic light is for you to still drive out into the crossing and not to stop. 🫣🫣

Kan meddela att i detta nu så tutar jag verkligen ifrån #Skopje eftersom semestern är slut och jag återvände idag. Här ett foto från gränsövergången mellan Serbien & Nordmakedonien. För övrigt så måste jag säga att den Nordmakedonska flaggan är fantastiskt vacker!

One of the amazing things with #NorthMacedonia - there are wild turtles around. Even in #Skopje.

Another amazing thing, way more tragic, is the massive amount of pollution of the environment with very many people throwing garbage just about anywhere.

In this photo you can see both. The shell of the turtle is in the middle of the picture. The garbage - more visible around.

Magical thunderstorm over #Skopje right now. Just stood on the terrace and tried to take it all in. Got a video of it to show the kids. Here is a screen grap showing one of many lightnings tonight.

Jag tycker om #Systembolaget och är inte emot dem. Men när jag besöker den lokala köttbutiken här i #Skopje och jag samtidigt kan köp vin, ja då önskar jag att bolaget hemma i Sverige haft en form av ”filialer” som butiker kunde använda. Typ ”butik i butiken”. Hade ju kunnat lösa detta med gårdsförsäljning också.

I wanted to have a look at the 14.30 service to #Bitola🇲🇰... But there was no train at all.

🇲🇰😢🚂🚃🚃 This is maybe the sadest railway station in Europe🇪🇺: #Skopje🇲🇰.

In former times there were regular train services to #Belgrade🇷🇸, #Thessaloniki🇬🇷, #Pristina🇽🇰 and even to some western European cities. Today the station building is totally worn-out and hardly any regional services are operational 😢!

Igår utforskade vi lite i närområdet. Dvs vi åkte upp till toppen av berget Vodno som ligger precis söder om #Skopje (vi bor vid foten av det). Linbana upp till toppen och vidunderlig utsikt över dalgångarna.
