Mailed my #LetterstoaPrescientist letter early January; we’ve been writing about Geo activities, oceans, & academic journeys (including timelines) 😄 I have a few #SkypeAScientist sessions with K-12 set up in February & will be zooming with #CommunityColleges this semester 😁

I love science communication, I love #skypeascientist

Today, once again I joined a classroom and we talked about light and gravity! Showed them a little bit about altimetry, lasers and laser interferometers, gravity and the interaction of light with gravity. Oh, it was an amazing time! Almost all of them asked questions 🤩 such brilliant kids, 10 year olds

But the best thing is to encourage girls to get into science, showing them an example, an example of women in science
