The #Slack UI update just rolled out to our workspace. Haven't explored it too much yet, but boy am I excited for something new and fresh with the tool I use oh, so much.

👨‍💻 Is there any way to revert the new #Slack layout to always show my full list of workspaces icons on the left? -- and NOT have them collapsed?

Not having static vision of each workspace's notification dot really kills how I have used this app for the last few years.

I rarely say i hate something, but this close. #Slack was sensitive to my visual disabilities and in some ableist move made it almost unusable in the latest update. I can’t even see any other features the color schemes are so bad. Even the themes designed for color blind people are unusuable besides being ugly colors. For many of us with color blindness or using bifocals it is strong contrast that is critical and these muted lower saturation colors are a nightmare to see. And no black and white options.

Is #Slack running user studies b4 force-deploying these major UI changes

@ricci #firefox multi-account containers and #linuxmint #webapps is great for browser isolation. Webapps basically creates a dedicated browser profile for a specific site and registers it in your app menu as a separate app. E.g. Нарешті закінчив з автоматичними повідомленнями про старт деплою в #AWS #ElasticBeanstalk. Клієнт постійно питає: чому щось не працює, а виявляється, що кожен раз іде деплой від розробників, про який ніхто не знає. Звʼязка получилась така:
#EventBridge -> #SNS Topic -> #Lambda, а далі через визов на #Slack вебхук, щоб сповістити канал про старт деплоя.
К досвіду додався ще один сервіс, з яким раніше не працював (EventBridge)

OK, I've got the new #Slack interface now on several of my Slack servers. I absolutely hate it. Gone is the quick overview of the status of your different servers, just to name something.

sigh. my last running #slack client finally updated to the terrible new UI.

I usually try to give the benefit of the doubt on things like this, but it's almost like nobody who pushed these changes signs in to multiple Slack workspaces on a desktop computer.

#Slack rolling out a completely new interface that folds different groups together... and doing so in stages across different groups is so 🤦‍♂️
