eh #SlackBuilds #Slackware be like, i want to build network/surf but its libraries/webkit2gtk dependency, which in turn depended on like development/unifdef (had to find where that one was manually) and libwpe (how do i false ENABLE_WAYLAND_TARGET in this?), makes me give up

Handling dependencies is not a hassle nowadays. 😉
Using tools like sbopkg for example to build #SlackBuilds makes it quite easy.
And the fact that #Slackware ships most stuff one needs.
The recommendation is always to do a full install - if doing a minimal install with custom tagfiles for example then one is on his own!

Hand building endless trees of #slackbuilds for interdependent #perl mods has grown tiresome... really makes me appreciate #CPAN. But, I still think it's a good idea to have slackbuilds for them all, so I'm building a #slackbuild perl module builder. lol.

Buzzing along with #Perlurl (i've almost reached 0.30!) and still have a long way to go. A tiny bit stuck because my favorite linux distro's build system doesn't have a recent enough version of #Mojolicious to go forward in an 'official' way and I don't want to make it too retrograde, since the newer Mojo/Minion stuff is just too nice.

I honestly always install via #CPAN myself, but if I were going to make a docker/whatever on #Slackware I'd want #slackbuilds for everything.

Toot 0.34.0 is live on #slackbuilds. It's very useful for creating #fediverse #bots!

Accomplishments this year: Got back into making #slackbuilds and having a few published, #dumpedtwitter, got Perlurl up to version 0.0.023 (lol), tended and planted more in my local #servicesgarden ( #kiwix, #nextcloud, #libretranslate, #nitter, #dump1090, several more #icecast stations, #gotosocial, #miniflux ...) and got all the servers & desktops up to #slackware 15! Got to level 11 in a D&D game (a first!) Got up to speed with #raku...
