Y aquí tenemos el otro disco que compré. De Gabriel tenía el #Us en CD, que tenía buenos temas, pero que me pareció denso y me alejó de ir más allá de los temas conocidos en el resto de su carrera.
Recientemente ha sacado #Panopticom, que me ha parecido un temazo y sabía que este disco de 1986 había significado un antes y un después en su carrera, así que quería añadirlo a mi repertorio.
Si tenéis ocasión, ved el documental #InsideJob, hacen un uso magistral de #BigTime. La sorpresa agradable del disco es #MercyStreet.
Me llama la atención el orden de los temas en la cara A; yo habría abierto con #Sledgehammer y habría cerrado con #DontGiveUp, pero él sabe más que yo.
Es el primer disco de Gabriel que tiene título como tal, ya que los cuatro anteriores se llamaban "Peter Gabriel". Me gusta el diseño del disco y de los singles, que tenían el nombre del cantante en letras blancas dentro de una pastilla azul.
