I've been #sleepwalking and having trouble turning off my alarm. I don't remember doing it, but my family members heard it being turned off. Moving my phone farther away hasn't helped, as I still manage to turn it off while sleepwalking. I even answered a call from my mom and walked from my living room to my bedroom while sleepwalking. I'm thinking of using an app with puzzles to turn off the alarm, but I'm open to other ideas.

Last year we had the revelation of the hunger stones in rivers in #europe
Hunger stones are a common marker in some European rivers. From the German word, #Hungerstein hunger stones mark water levels during severe drought. They remind and warn future generations of the hardships endured in the past since you can see the carved years of past droughts. Now this is happening.

I do not like the idea
That in all the effort and strain
I really have nothing to gain
That I'm but a phantom -
Dreaming a dream
(That contention of many a seer)
It leaves me nonplussed
And is particularly dreer
If what I'm engaged in is a sleepwalking turn
And nothing truly matters around here

We've all seen them.

The small 'L' left who say they care and then say, but the #youngPeople, I see hope in #theNextGeneration to turn things around.

Its a common trope. We see #mediaTrained sophists use it all the time, too.

They are in there 30s, 40s and 50s. But are satisfied to not #beTheChange they want to see.

Its deeply troubling that systems like Tor and i2p have existed for over a decade yet no one has had the guts to promote them strongly. We've had #netNeutrality destroyed, #dragNets built, #techGiants crush #independentMedia, and respected #certificateAuthorities exposed for issuing faulty #encryptionKeys...

What more do we honestly need!?

But when we try to suggest the alternative, many act like its too extreme. The #sleepwalking is real.

... #poachLabour from poorer countries. Actively depriving those places of highly motivated and well-positioned people to improve outcomes for their local #community.

We're not saying #isolation but to reduce numbers to sensible levels so they don't have qualities of a #pyramidScheme.

It looks like the UK have already started on this journey; Australia, not so much, people are literally #sleepWalking and #sleepDriving here if that helps some larger analogy.
