For tonight's experiment, I'm going in the opposite direction. I'm going to bed as soon as I get tired. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I'll read or something. If I wake up at 4 am for no good reason, then I'll just get up.

I bought myself a salt lamp today. Not for any of the bullshit claims but because it's a pretty light. I've started listening to ocean sounds before bed and I think the pinky/orange glow will be a nice addition to my new #bedtime #SleepHygiene routine.

I sleep in the recovery position most of the time and tend to punch myself in the head while asleep. Maybe this chap will help.

Quick hack for better sleep if you struggle w/ Insomnia: Take a hot shower before bed. Your body temp drops when you leave the shower which facilitates sleep. Rapid decline in core body temp increases likelihood of sleep initiation and facilitates entry into deeper sleep stages.

I used to read before bed; these days I play #Boardgames on Board Game Arena while listening to #naddpod episodes with my sleep timer on, or watch a few minutes of #dimension20. I'm sure I'll cycle back to reading eventually.
I've always found it pretty easy to go to sleep, because, as I now realize, I intuitively know the exact amount of stimulation my #neurodivergent brain needs to be blissfully comfortable. It may not be other people's version of #SleepHygiene but it works for me.

Having trouble getting to sleep before 3am. I have to get up at 7am every day. I get more and more tired through the week, sleep erratically throughout the weekend then it starts over on Monday. It started getting really bad right after daylight savings. Any advice?
