@mayaisloading A lot of these work for me. Adding +1 for:

1. No after 5PM.
2. Cold dark bedroom.
3. Warm bedding/heat pad in winter.
4. No screens for an hour before bed.
5. Don't go to bed until tired.

And I'll add:

6. Do a , preferably one where you flex and relax each muscle group.
7. If you're stressed, a meditation to observe and release your thoughts helps too.

Four nights ago, I had the best night's sleep I'd had in ages. Months in fact - maybe a year or two. Thought I might have finally cracked the sleep code.

The three nights since I've been awake at 4.20am., for around 2 hours.

I'm about to start taking magnesium; heard it helps a lot with sleep. Can anyone advise me on the best time to take it?
