At first officially press has been saying it was a gas leak, but other sources say it was a drone attack from Iran, and that 6 of the dead are Kurdish politicians from Iran. This kind of attack is becoming more frequent in the Kurdish region, with attacks coming from both #Turkey and #Iran. Sadly, the lack of free press in Kurdistan makes it very hard to find the truth. On May 11 on Salem Street in Slemani, a friend of mine was badly injured in an explosion that was said to be a gas explosion. People died, but the deaths were covered up.
