This pencil drawing is based on my own observations, of different stages of one slime mold species, the Stemonitopsis. It was fun to do!

The starting point of these drawings were the works of my colleagues. The shapes and colors in these works came together in this drawing.

And I can see mushrooms in every shape I see.
