30 tracks of great power pop from Nova Scotia's shouldn't-be-obscure-in-the-US Sloan.
This is one of those "four band members who all write great songs" bands, and they've been around for quite a while. It's funny that sometimes the take on Sloan is that they're "too consistent", as if putting out albums that are well-crafted and melodic is a problem?

It's still difficult to determine if the Rooney Rule actually works, and Rider does an excellent job pinning down the big problems in achieving representation parity in the NFL and throws down the gauntlet on how organizations can contribute to actually making a dent in this problem. As an industry, baseball is arguably farther along in #PeopleAnalytics than any. It's interesting contrasting hockey with (American) football, as it's more free flowing and harder to seperate out different outcomes, and struck me as more similar to #PeopleAnalytics more broadly. Listening to Anyway Gang's debut album. They are a #Canadian rock supergroup consisting of members from #SamRobertsBand, #Sloan, #Hollerado, and #TokyoPoliceClub. I don't end up listening to it too often because its a 45 RPM disc and I need to remove the platter to switch the belt between spindles.
