Brukar du lära dig nya saker? Jag håller just på med att bekanta mig med ett nytt hantverk - spinna lin.
Ska testa beredning också om vädret är torrt nog imorgon.
Det är dock oerhört frustrerande och går inte särskilt bra. Antingen har jag fått en spinnrock som inte sköter sig eller så är jag bara dålig, helt enkelt. Tråden går av, blir för tjock eller för hårt spunnen... ger snart upp!
Hur brukar du peppa dig själv när det är riktigt motigt?

If yesterday's post was about shape and flow, we'll today's is about texture and feel.
Again the wood is Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia).
The texturing was added using the @flexcut.tools folding knife gifted to me by @russelljwest , as well as the ridges on top and scaled facets underneath, it also has subtle convex facets on the sides of the handle.

The shape and flow of this spoon-horn came out really well.
The wood is Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia), it's hard work, my Mora needs resharpening after finishing just two spoons, but I'm sure you can agree it's worth it.
