This is a lovely cross-over version of the #Slovenian #folk song Zrejlo je žito by Sabina Cvilak, arranged by Rok Golob. Zrejlo je žito (the grain is ripe) is a haunting harvest song from Prekmurje region in the East of #Slovenia 🇸🇮.
This rendition leans quite heavily towards #ClassicalMusic with the #orchestra, #choir and #opera style of singing, but there are also modern elements present, such as drum kit and bass. This being a very popular tune, it gets played and sung in a wide variety of styles nowadays.
