anyway, #mastodon's initially maddening limitations and intentional affordances uniquely position it as a hybrid of swipe-to-#distract twitter and the #slowfeed of articles via #RSS.

i think *this* network -- more 'social' than twitter, christ knows -- will end up sending me back to the ruins of the blogosphere. there are worse places to skulk about.
