Today was a trip down to Port Erin on the Manx Steam Railway. Very much #SlowTravelSeeMore, as I think top speed was about 25mph, but the windows opened fully. Again, I hope I have better photos from my actual camera, but here’s a couple of phone pics for now.

Tomorrow I think will be the tram up Snaefell #IsleOfMan #holiday

Oh, and a very nice ice cream too, scoop each of coconut & lime and Turkish delight (which was marginally my favourite)

After getting the next train, I spend an enjoyable afternoon walking around #Liverpool, culminating in a sunset over the Mersey with tomorrow’s onward travel just visible on the right.

A delayed train meant a just missed connection, but this was an unexpected chance to have a 45 minute wander around #Preston, where I found a lovely garden by the Ribble. #SlowTravelSeeMore
