So many people that compare mastodon with twitter and find that masto lacks this and that.

I see comments where they're really confused about how companies could use it. How it should be to replace twitter.

It's not here to replace anything.
I deleted my twitter profile because the platform is toxic by design, so are many established social media platforms.

I love mastodon simply because it reminds me of how internet once was, slow and interesting.

In my opinion, the most interesting feature of mastodon is the #fediverse, and the underlying tech, and principles that grew into a #w3c standard called #activitypub, and hopefully one day its (long awaited) continuation...

It is not antiviral. It *can* be slow, or an incarnation of #slowweb. Blogging is better at that, and even slower there is: code.
