The companion piece to PAIN, Analgesia represents the opposite. While pain is associated with chaos and inflammation, fear, anger and stress, pain relief is associated with order, calm, and peace. Using ice as the inspiration, which is a classic pain relief method, this painting highlights the role of the nervous system in generation of analgesia.
