Very happy that the heatwave wave warning has been lifted, and the overnight temperature is predicted to be slightly lower tonight. It might even be cool enough tomorrow to tackle some overdue ironing.

My new pillow has worked wonders for my neck, and tomorrow is clean sheet day, with the brand new sheets. Is there a better feeling than sliding between clean, cool, fresh sheets at the end of the day?

We have a Post Office Box at a nearby Australia Post office. The staff are always lovely, and when we set it up (after the local outlet had closed under less than ideal circumstances), the manager was so helpful, making sure we had a box which met our access needs.

And every time #AustraliaPost asks us to fill out a survey, we always add in comments about the helpful staff, and ask that they please be rewarded with “Freddo Frog chocolates and a koala stamp.”

Partner went to collect the post today, and took in our little gift wrapped box of chocolates for the manager and staff. But on opening our box, found a note with four chocolate Freddo Frogs attached, saying “Happy Holidays from the team at (x) Post Office”!!!
