This may be my least favorite part of the week. I still have work to do. I don't want to do it. My brain is rebelling. I'm going to try to finish one last small thing, then take a walk before we head to dinner. No date with our girl tonight -- she has soccer practice at 7pm -- but we'll go to our fav place for salad (me) and pizza (him). Not quite finished working. Dogs are sad because it's raining and we didn't walk today. Tried something new for dinner and didn't really like it. BUT! There have been plenty of small pleasures throughout the day. Plenty of coziness. The fun of looking at several recipes and choosing one. Chatting with a colleague. Today is one of those days where something that didn't work out derailed me, and I'm not liking that at all. In part I know it's because my world is very small and has been for a while, so inconsequential things weigh heavier on my mind.
