For day 22 I'm showing 2 forged bronze bamboo wall pieces from 2007. The leaves and stems were forged from solid bamboo and Tig welded together. I think the wall pieces were probably in the 7 to 12 in size range.

Here is the 3rd of 3 ornaments that I sent out as a Christmas gift. This one is made up of two bronze ginkgo leaves with their stems wrapped together to make the loop. I saw the shapes, hammer them, then solder them into their final form. For a finish, I use wire wheels to burnish. I also made a little bronze hook for hanging.

For day 20, I'm posting ornament 2 of 3 (from the ones I shipped out yesterday.) This one has 3 bronze ivy style leaves with stems that vine together, and a matching hammered bronze hook. It's about 5 inches long.

For day 19, I'm showing the first of three ornaments that I just made and shipped out today. This one is a hammered bronze leaf ornament with a hand hammered ornament hook.

day 17. This is a that I created in bronze, in 2014-ish with the techniques of and . So now I want to focus on some more faces like this, a little smaller, in 2023. It's hard to really get into the obsessive mode required for something like this, when I can only work on my days off.

Day 13 - I made a bronze willow leaf ornament as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law because they told me that the willow was their favorite tree. I will accept for similar work.

Art Advent Calendar Day 4. I made these copper ginkgo leaf wallpieces in 2001 and I've been making them ever since. They range from 4 to 9 inches, depending on what the client wants or what I feel like working on.
