Did some computer hobbying, this old still works fine, A1181 with 4 GB of RAM installed. The installed 160 GB HD had over 5k hours of uptime according to so I replaced it with a 1TB one. Going to install on it and use it as a general use computer for the .

If you have a S.M.A.R.T. monitored disk and get "unreadable (pending) sectors" or "failed command: READ FPDMA QUEUED" or "Offline uncorrectable sectors" errors or such, here's how to find out which file system blocks and files are affected, and how to force the about to be failing disk to reallocate (map out) those sectors:
