Is the jury out on #cashierless retail stores?

#Qatar joins the #smartstore club this month, after we've seen cashierless stores open in Oman and the UAE over the past 18 months.

However, none of the Gulf's retail brands involved have announced any plans to add further smart stores. Is that lack of success or simply not a priority?
