Woohoo, I beat **Hi-Fi Rush** on **Rhythm Master** difficulty with **stage S ranks** and then completed the 60 levels of the **Rhythm Tower** sadly with an **A rank**. Oh well.
I am done. I can move on from this great game. To acknowledge its faults, the platforming is mediocre, the story is just okay, the level pacing could be better in the early parts.
Two games to prepare for next: **Sifu** and **Celeste: Strawberry Jam**.
@VentureSmash That was so sick! I’ve never wrapped my head around how people actually use the #smashbox Seems so difficult to me.
Also, on controller with link, I would always let go of shield before inputting grounded up B to avoid getting rolls. HOWEVER, with tilt modifiers on #smashbox thats no longer necessary. Can just hold onto shield!
#smashbox progress: week 7! Spacing is starting to feel a bit more natural, but I can tell its not as good yet. Also realized my disadvantage on Box is actually garbage vs some characters compared to controller. Hard to practice the reaction DI + directional air Dodges... or smash DI + a defensive option to get out of some combos. I just need to play more games against characters that can combo me I guess. #ssbu
In my experience, box-controllers for smash and much less taxing on your thumb/hands if A and c-stick - the most used buttons - are mapped to multiple fingers. A lot less movement for the thumb
My setup maps them to index/middle/ring finger
