Aiming this year to rationalise my energy use when cooking.
If something is being boiled then a steamer basket is going on top. If something can be microwaved without compromising it then I will. Today I managed an entire dinner (vegan joint, cauliflower, potatoes, onions and vegan lardons) in a single tray in the oven all for the same length of time.
The bonus of it is leaving the oven door open while it's cooling to warm up the kitchen βΊοΈ
