[Approximate Radar Simulation - - Not Meant to be Exact] Scattered showers are expected to develop through the afternoon with the focus across interior #SNE with perhaps an isolated t-storm. However, the vast majority of the day will be dry in a given location.
[Approximate Radar Simulation through Sat] A few spot showers/t-storms will develop across interior #SNE this afternoon. However...much of the region will remain dry until after midnight when numerous showers and scattered t-storms begin to develop and continue into Saturday.
[1215 PM] An abundance of clouds across #SNE but there were peeks of sunshine too. Current temps are mainly in the upper 60s to the lower 70s at the lunch hour.
[Near Surface Smoke Returns Tue] While more sunshine with warmer temps will finally return Tuesday...a few hit or miss afternoon t-storms will develop. In addition, also expect near surface smoke to work back into #SNE from the Canadian Wildfires which the simulation depicts.
[10:05 AM] Sunshine & beautiful weather in progress late this morning with temps already well into the 60s as of 10 am. Afternoon high temps should top out in the lower to middle 70s across most of #SNE with sunshine continuing.
[615 AM] A raw/chilly morning across #SNE with areas of light rain & drizzle. Current temps mainly in the 30s. Do not forget the 🌂 on the way out the door early this morning especially across eastern MA & RI.
[Approximate Radar Simulation] Rain overspreads #SNE from west to east between 5 and 9 pm this evening. Rain changes to snow overnight in the Berks & northern Worcester Hills with 1-2" possible. Rain may even mix with snow in the lower elevations, but no accumulation expected.
[7 Day Forecast] A quiet stretch of weather for #SNE with mainly dry weather into early next week except for a few showers Fri into early Sat. Highs generally be in the middle 40s to the lower 50s. The exception will be Sunday with gusty winds & highs only in the 30s to near 40.
[9 PM] Much of #SNE is experiencing a cold rain right now. However, the higher terrain of the interior particularly over 600 feet in elevation are experiencing wet snow. Heavy snow will occur overnight across the high terrain of the northern Worcester Hills and Berks.

[Late Fri night-Sat] The latest data indicates the next storm system will pass far enough south of #SNE to prevent significant impacts. Northeast flow may result in a period of light snow for much of the region late Fri night into Sat, but any accumulations should be light.

[11:10 AM] Sunny skies across most of #SNE late this morning with the remaining ocean effect clouds across the Cape scouring out. Current temps were mainly in the lower 30s.
[Pattern Change] Potential pattern change late next week into early March. Very cold air spills into southern Canada with above normal temps continuing across the southeast. #SNE will be in the battleground...but more prone to cold shots from the north than most of this winter.
[Extended Outlook] The overall theme of this winter looks to continue for much of next week. There is high confidence in above normal temps across #SNE in the February 14th to 18th timeframe.
[Historic Arctic Outbreak Feb 13-14 2016] The dangerously cold airmass that will invade the region Fri into early Sat will be the coldest temps seen in #SNE since Feb 13-14 2016. Worcester dropped to -16 & Boston fell to -9; which were the coldest temps at both sites since 1957!
[Long Range Outlook] There are signs that we may finally see a shot of very cold air working into #SNE during the second half of next week.
