Working on pronouncing one of my bucket list destinations place name.
In Welsh it is Yr Wyddfa.
A close phonetic English approximation is "er WITH va" (emphasis for the capital letters)
The toponym Yr Wyddfa corresponds to Snowdon. Yr Wyddfa is the tallest peak in Wales. In 2021 the Welsh name was elevated to official place name to use in both Welsh & English. Map is sourced from the National Museum of Wales blog:

Snowdon to now be referred to as it's Welsh name. A good idea in principle (it worked for Uluru in Australia). But the pronunciations did make me think of Vic Reeves doing the Dove from Above round.
