Finally figured out how to send my audio to multiple outputs on #Linux using Jack / QjackCTL, so I might do some #Streaming on Twitch later. Just need to decide between #SnowRunner or #TheOuterWorlds (Fuck Bethesda)

Picked up #SnowRunner (base game) and played several hours of it yesterday. Finding myself in a position of needing to figure out what tasks I can accomplish with the vehicles I have, or having to get different vehicles. Maybe I'm just overlooking something.

And there it is. I finally did it.

I had to mod the ramp decks to only require 4 wheels touching in order to secure the cargo. I loaded two farm trailers on those and then loaded those trucks onto a long flatbed.

The tractor stays hitched to the third trailer with the flatbed ramps holding the whole thing in place and a fuel trailer wedged in front so it can't roll at all.

Gonna swap out the pickups for something with a little more power next time, though.

Not pictured above: The way the farm equipment works best on the flatbed.

You drive the tractor up on to the back end of the trailer, detach the farm trailer, raise the trailer ramps, and re-attach the farm trailer.

Since you can't secure the tractor while it has a trailer attached, and you can't secure the farm trailer at all, this seems to be the best way to lock everything in place.

Then you just park and pack another truck in front of the tractor and it just works. lul.

Yea I bought three tractors and I had to make two trips but it still counts >.>

I swear I spend so much time just proving to myself that I can do jobs in a way that runs counter to the developer's intentions.

They want you to use one tractor and drive back and forth to pick up each of the three trailers. Fuuuuuuck that. They're going on a flatbed even if it takes 5x as long! And so they did.

So I'm still a season behind in #SnowRunner but man am I ever disappointed with the farm equipment.

Problem: Your tractor and all three farm trailers are needed on the next map.

Solution: Trailer them!

Except...
- Farm trailers can't be packed (secured) on a flatbed so they slide off when you drive
- If they tip over they often become permanently unusable
- They only have winch points on the side; winching leads to tipping

I ended up buying three tractors instead; One for each trailer.

Sad.
