Same , same — five months apart! The wilderness is wonderful throughout all four seasons. While reflecting on my recent trip in the , I also think further back to how I enjoyed the same in the winter with , , and frozen . Regardless of conditions, the always has something unique and special to offer— even with mud, rain, and bugs!

That’s a wrap! Just returned from a fabulous multi-mode adventure , , and in the British Virgin Islands. Sailed to several islands and dove and snorkeled off each island. Went as well to one of the island peaks. Had a blast!
When asked at the airport if I was “escaping the cold”, I responded ABSOLUTELY NOT! I am already planning my next trip!

Most streams were bridged over with and , making for easy (and dry!) passage, but the water was exposed on this one so I walked through the water and on some of the rocks with my snowshoes on. I love the interesting pattern the snow makes on this !
