First stage: Humza 24,336 (48%), Kate 20,559 (40%) Ash 5,599 (11%).

STV system Ash eliminated so her voters 2nd pref distributed.

Second stage: Yousaf took 26,032 (52%) and Forbes took 23,890 (48%).

Humza Yousaf winning the #snpleadership election is not exactly a cause for celebration but it's more that both Forbes and Regan would have been massive steps back for the party and the country.

Greens are consulting internally now but I expect there will be no issue to stay in government with Yousaf as FM - if there is a vote, that will be my position.
