Bueno, va. Voy a dar mi opinión de Rebel Moon, la que nadie me ha pedido, pero que estoy deseando dar porque soy gilipollas.

En realidad, el tráiler se ve bastante bien. Aunque sea un batiburrillo de mil cosas.

El problema, es que siendo la peli de quien es, yo ya no me fío. Y no me fío, porque yo era de los que deseaba que Zack Snyder hiciese, cuanto antes, obras propias lejos de DC, para que me volviese a gustar. Por eso, cuando salieron los primeros avances de Army of the Dead, os aseguro que estaba expectante, con ganas de pasármelo bien con esa peli.

Y luego vi que era pura serie-Z, pero con todo lo que ello conlleva.

Por eso, con Rebel Moon, si bien tiene buena pinta, desconfío mucho. Tengo la sensación de que va a meter mucha cosa, pero nada va a tener el peso argumental que se merece, y que los personajes van a ir como pollos sin cabeza por la trama, con un desarrollo bastante malo.

Ojalá equivocarme, pero he ahí mi predicción, basada en las cosas que ha hecho ese director estos últimos años.

In der letzten Lektion seiner Vorlesungsreihe The making of Modern #Ukraine 🇺🇦 geht Timothy #Snyder, etwas überraschend, sehr detailliert auf den deutschen 🇩🇪#Imperialismus und die blinden Flecken in der hiesigen Geschichtsauseinandersetzung ein, die er auch mit der deutschen Politik gegenüber Russland 🇷🇺 in Verbindung bringt.

Ich fand diesen Vortrag (wie auch die ganze Serie) höchst sehenswert.

We don't have to wait 30 years, they're doing it now: there was no #coup, #Donbas was invaded by #Russians, #NATO took in new members at their insistence and not out of an urge for "#expansion", and the #Russian proposals were a bunch of lies, like everything else the #Putin regime has come up with. Read or listen to Timothy #Snyder or Serhii #Plokhy, the two most prominent historians out of an increasing number working in this field and leave Russians to peddle their propaganda alone.
