Rare picture of me making #soap , because making selfies is not 100% easy and safe when making soap. I showed the process to a friend's yesterday and she took pictures. It's a coffee grounds soap, exfoliating and useful to remove dirt after gardening. I wouldn't use it for everyday shower or shampoo (hard to rinse). #soapmaking

Today's fresh #soap : for the lye solution I used aquafaba from black beans that I used for tempeh, hence the color. The lye solution was dark brown and became very thick after cooling, maybe the soda reacted with beans stuff. I also kept and grow the beans soaking water which was dark red and less thick for a next soap. #soapmaking

Tried the commercial #castile #soap before making my own, using it as #shampoo. No scent is a HUGE positive (at least, as a beekeeper). Not that anyone else is smelling my hair ever anyway. Ha ha.
