Saw a review for SOARING SKY! PRECURE earlier suggesting Sora's larger-than-life chivalric bearing might seem too much or irritating to adult audiences and I'm left wondering if this is a neurotypical vs autistic thing as that is something that really endears me to the character.

Anime first impressions:
So far #HirogaruSkyPrecure looks great!
They started with an episode full of adventure instead of of exposition while still following the usual scheme of a Precure first episode, and that worked really well!
And they definitely put some work into the fights which makes me hopeful that they’ll continue to do that.
I don’t like the villain design, though…

So I've a good feeling about SOARING SKY! PRECURE on the basis of the pilot. This is definitely my new favorite Magical Girl aesthetic. Something about floating sky regions really appeals to me. That whole airy vibe. Also our new protagonist Sora is really cool!
