I'm on a bit of a bad movie binge.

San Andreas (2015) was kind of boring and by the numbers.

Rampage (2018) was good, mindless fun. It's probably among the best movies adapted from a video game, but that bar is a very low one.

Just finished watching Anaconda (1997) and loved it. So bad, it's good. Jon Voight is hilarious.

Now I *need* to see Anaconda 2.

The nipples! The bums! Uma Thurmans acting! Mr Freeze's puns! The dancing gorilla! Its all gold (bar the rampant misogyny) 😄

Interestingly there is a bit in this movie where Poison Ivy pleads with Batman to save the planet and he replies "people come first", which tells you EVERYTHING about where we were on climate change in the 90s 😬

Okay, went to a "Bad Film Festival" yesterday and enjoyed all 3 films screened.

First up: Doctor Butcher M.D. (aka Zombie Holocaust)

Nothing makes sense in favor of just letting anything the filmmakers want happen, so yeah, it's fun and gory without a dull moment - something a lot of GOOD films fail to do.

The pressure to choose a #movie to watch with people you only -kinda- know immense. I just went with my gut for a #sobaditsgood horror movie, and everyone's groans showed it was successful 😆
