Structure, immune system, and circulatory system are elements of an ecosystem. There are other parts.

A non-extractive is powered by , , and .

The roles of and in an ecosystem play a part in a sustainable ecosystem. I don't want to be a Sucker. I'm way out of date to be able to provide labor. Don't need to my attention. Trying to figure out how much currency helps enough but doesn't make me a sucker such that if I leave too much of a currency hole is left, weakening the ecosystem. This same analysis has to be happening with those whose major contribution to powering the ecosystem is their uncompensated labor.

research is exploring how microbial ecosystems operate. The language they use includes FreeLoader and Sucker. Nothing derogatory intended. Open to alternative names for agents who take advantage of others' generosity without giving anything in return.

Yes, good work describing an ecosystem service for a . is an extractive social ecosystem. The is trying to be a thriving, sustainable social ecosystem without being extractive.

I've been trying to figure out what my share, in $$$ and/or labor, would need to be to make a work. Identifying ecosystem service types is important to figuring out how to make it sustainable while it grows.

Users/instance(?server?) will be important to cost sharing. This will be important to sustainability.

What is the cost difference between a small or tiny server vs on that serves thousands? What would be the % paying vs free-loader required to sustain each server type? Paying users moving might be less impactful to a thousands-server vs a tiny-server.

Any idea what hashtag might reveal more conversations or thoughts on the cost sustainability part of building a non-predatory-capitialism social ecosystem?
