@mjgardner @chris @kissane I admit I am not perfect but I do have empathy and a lot of it. I would hope you are not implying that I lack empathy. I don't have Anti-Social Personality Disorder, I am simply #actuallyautistic and have my limits on the amount of #socialization that I can take.

I find that it is easier for me to be patient with people newer to technology when I have time to compose carefully and thoughtfully worded written answers.

It is a #moral insult that our natural human drive to #socialization and #empathy are callously manipulated into #parasocial relationships with #brands.

@zhivi I agree, #AntiRacism has to begin with oneself. All of us have been socialized in racist society, as I define racism as an overarching interlocking set of cultural, societal, and economic institutions. We overturn that #socialization as we progress in the anti-racist journey. This requires #mindfulness in observing one's thoughts, reactions, and subtle feelings regarding race. It's not one's fault for being socialized by #racism, but it's one's responsibility to undo it.

Wondering what kind of social activity should I start doing. Back in the day when we lived in the city we had #ymca close by and i liked the community. There were faces which I was seeing every morning. Guess what ... I built a #ymca in my house, no #socialization anymore. Taking random people out for a beer/dinner is weird. Need to revisit my list of acquittances :-)
