When my kids were on the At Risk Register, after my now ex-husband started attacking all 4 of us, Social Services made it clear as a parent to young kids I was not allowed to see to any of my needs at all- only my kids' needs & my then husband's needs (because I was told I had to control his behaviour) were allowed for me to meet.
