I wonder how many social (simulation) scientists:
- would benefit from using HPC but don't (most?);
- have access to HPC for free/cheap from their institution (some?);
- have ever used HPC at all (few?).

From a quick search in JASSS it seems that many colleagues are working with HPC. Which is a reassuring surprise. To me.
