Cat-Content, das sind all die Katzenfotos, die Memes und andere katzenbezogenen Inhalte, die im Internet kursieren. Mit Katzen lassen sich anscheinend auch menschliche Gefühlslagen gut ausdrücken. Und der Cat Content hat manche Menschen dazu inspiriert, auch ihre Sprache an Katzen zu orientieren.

Bonfiglio's Mother Tongues and Nations is such a great read!
I just finished chapter 6, where the author describes how the "discovery" of Sanskrit fueled the development of European ethnolinguistic nationalism in the 19th century.

Spotted in #Xmen c1966: #Ogre saying "sneaked off" rather than "snuck off". The increased use of the latter is apparently a very recent development in #American #literautre (https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=sneaked+off%2Csnuck+off&year_start=1800&year_end=2019&corpus=en-US-2019&smoothing=3).
