Whether you call it #cancelculture or #accountability culture or pretend it doesn't exist, I feel it's in remission. I think #sociologists of the future will mark the epoch as starting with the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012, through BLM and MeToo, the Trump years and George Floyd, and ending with the sale of Twitter this year. People just aren't as amped up as they were about it all.

So much work to do before heading to #ess2023

This is a mid-life crises career change and I'm starting with a BA in Sociology, highest honors, top school, but probably not enough money for a phd, unfortunately.
