In the last ten years, I have been analyzing scientific controversies - first, in my master's (access to #CBD in #Brazil); then, controversies involving the causality of #ZikaVirus in fetal anomalies (#PhD). #introduction I’m a researcher at the Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW Australia. Focused on evidence-making practices and embodied experiences of COVID-19, including Long Covid and COVID care. My work draws on critical and #newmaterialist approaches to #sts / #ScienceAndTechnologyStudies #medicalhumanities #disabilitystudies #culturalstudies #mediastudies #sociologyofhealthandillness. Also interested in what thoughtful, reciprocal transdisciplinarity looks like in practice, the value of popular culture as theory, and creative approaches to knowledge making and dissemination (+ how these might all work together). Working on unceded Bedegal, Gadigal, and Wangal country.
