To that end, he made various online video ads fearing an algorithmically-generated person of colour expressing their concerns about listening to #Aboriginal people when they say they want to be listened to.

Faced with the predictable backlash (and #FreePublicity, who would have thought it?), his response (only slightly translated): "how could you possibly think this my ads against listening to Indigenous people would depict an Aboriginal person? Don't you realise that I'm targeting people who *don't* want to hear from Aboriginal voices? Why would I pick a fake Aboriginal person to make a #fearmongering claim about people falsely claiming to be Aboriginal? And anyway, I can always tell at a glance with 100% accuracy whether someone is Aboriginal or not, can't everyone?"

I was following events in #Ukraine (#Maidan, the fleeing of the Pres, the new #democratic elections). I used a list of relevant keywords, plugged them into #tweetdeck. After my day was done in #SiliconValley, I’d browse. When workers arrived to the office in St Petersburg, I saw 100s of the same tweet come from 100s of #sockpuppet accounts simultaneously, flooding #Twitter.

The fact that this ... thing ... was actually #ISIS' founder and funder aside, do note that the #Trump model #sockpuppet wasn't genocidal enough for this ... thing... .

The usual performative concern and faux outrage from #Tory backbenchers and Suella 'Sock Puppet' Braverman in anti-social behaviour debate at the moment. If they actually cared they'd invest more in (i.e. replace the money *they* took from) communities, and in particular, youth services and community mental health services.

I'm still on the fence about making #sockpuppet accounts for other social media sites (Mainly Instagram/Twitter). It'd mainly be for #OSINT reasons, but making an account/using the service still feels wrong to me.
Any thoughts/recommendations/advice on this would be appreciated!
